This Dove commercial by Ogilvy & Mather, New York is by far one of my favorite commercials of all time. I respect Ogilvy so much more for airing this commercial. It can be quite controversial because it is going against what our society has essentially become. Looks and appearance have come to dominate the world we live in. This brings out the true and raw side out of what we see advertised today and it stands up against this "perfect image" that the industry has created. It brings out the truth, which I think was a very bold and brave move on their part to which I give them credit for.

Dove
